The Shishukunj International School is a co-educational English Medium Senior Secondary School which has been operational from the academic session 2005-06. It is an affiliate of the Shishukunj International Society, London. "There is a genius in everybody - only some of them are less spoilt." This line provides an insight into the line of thought adopted at The Shishukunj International School. In its mission statement 'Let every bud bloom', the word 'let' assumes great significance for it is the core of the Shishukunj philosophy. Shishukunj strongly believes that every child possesses a wealth of potential. All that Shishukunj does is to facilitate its emergence in the most beautiful and natural way.

It is my pleasure and privledge to welcome you to this year's conference, which will be held from 23^rd to 25^th July 2016 at the lush green campus of The Shishukunj International School.
Now in its second year, Shishukunj MUN looks forward to being an academically, professionally and socially enriching Model United Nations Conference.
May each delegate be driven by the passion to research, discuss, debate and resolve subjects of global and national concern. This will help them gain first hand experience in the art of negotiation and skill of persuation.
I am sure Shishukunj MUN will be one of the unique, brilliant and competitive simulations of the United Nations for students.

Two years have passed since the Shishukunj International School launched itself into the domain of Model United Nations, and it has never looked back. The inaugral session of Shishukunj MUN came into being in November of 2014 for the students of Shishukunj. The next year we expanded the Shishukunj MUN to the interschool level. The conference, hosted in the school, is known for its versatile committees, quality of debate and well managed logistics. This year, the Shishukunj MUN 2016, featuring 8 diverse committees and about 250 delegates, brings forward a great weekend for you from July 23^nd to 25^th.
